Easiest way is to fly to Guilin airport,which is connected to most cities,i.e.HongKong,Macau,Beijing,Guangzhou,Shanghai,Kunming etc.

A good Fun-for-budget's way to reach Yangshuo is by train(via Guilin)or direct sleeper bus/luxury tourist bus)from Guangzhou/Shenzhen)

These options take about 10~12 hours.
